Hi, seeing the new necron models has inspired me to pick them up as my second army (after 'nids). I've finished painting my first three models, what do you think?

Ilike the glowing effect, really nicely done.

Nice scheme. If you paint everything to that standard then you must have an amazing nid horde and will have a beautiful cron force!

Scarabs are fun to paint, so here's another couple of scarab bases.

Impressive Sir! The over all color scheme has a nice contrast to it which really shows off the detail. I also appreciate the small changes you made to the models such as the repositioning of the Necron Warrior's leg/foot and the custom war-scythe. And of course, the glowing effect is a nice touch also.

Thanks, but the warscythe/staff of light is standard actually.
Nice job spotting the leg on the warrior model though. I don't much like the standard squatting pose they have. A lot of early 40k models have that pose, but it's just so bad on necron warriors that I had to do something about it.

Thanks, but the warscythe/staff of light is standard actually. Interesting, mine came single bladed... I feel robbed now

There are two necron lord models. The one with the ressurection orb has a double bladed staff. The one without the orb has a single bladed staff.

The Heirodule isn't much to look at yet. It's only just been basecoated in mechrite red. I'll throw some pictures of it up once it's done, probably in a couple of weeks. I want to get all the necron warriors finished first.

Well it's been a few months and all I've finished is a few more warriors. I have assembled and half painted some other stuff though. Maybe after I paint some more of my nids I'll get around to finishing them.

I just finished this destroyer. I wanted to practice my planned vehicle hull colours on this guy, hence all the green. I figured a destroyer is pretty much a guy fused to a vehicle, so it sort of made sense. It's a bit messy, but I should do better now when I get to my actual vehicles.
