Lord - Destroyer + RO + Scythe Lord - Destroyer + RO
10 Warriors 10 Warriors
4 Destroyers 4 Destroyers 5 Destroyers
2 Heavy Destroyers 2 Heavy Destroyers 2 Heavy Destroyers
Idea is that the Destroyers and Heavy Destroyers put as many shots into transports and stuff that can hurt lots, the Destroyer Lords are there to provide RO support and the 1 with the scythe is there for a little annoyance against some bigger armour or the odd monster/dread or any deep striking assaulters getting behind my warriors.

Sounds really solid to me, plenty of powerful long range shots to deal with anything big, and you can take out hordes with the Destroyers and Warriors. I am a bit of a fan of the Destroyer Wing idea though I still like my Warrior block the most.

I took an extra 10 warriors instead of the 2nd lord. Held the sisters to a draw until turn 6 when i began smashing everything, there was nothing left of his army at all in turn 7, I still had 20 warriors, 3 Heavy destroyers and 3 destroyers with my lord. It was only when I got home and really looked at the rules for WBB that I noticed that in the last few games I have played I have not been doing my WBB right, I was removing anything that didnt get its armour save IE melta weapons against destroyers, they still get WBB but dont get a save. Looking forward to the next time I play and even more of my stuff gets back up!!

I see you're a glass is half full kind of person Nice work with the Sisters though. I have found that Necrons actually do better against older codexes (Sisters, Tau, etc.) than the newer ones. But that may just be me.

Still got to play my mates DE, got smashed a few months back by Jaws of the World Wolf and the space puppies on big snarlie things. Used my expanding list against eldar recently and got a comfy draw but was my first game in ages so i was happy.

You really don't need a res orb on the lord in this kind of army list as the majority of your units are toughness 5... unless you expect to be up against armies with str 10 blasts or need the res orb for the few warriors.
An excellent addition to this list would be a monolith. Being able to re-roll failed WBB rolls for the destroyers using the monolith's teleporter makes them a whole lot harder to kill. In addition to this, the monolith proves to be a great LOS blocker for things like the heavy destroyers who can hide behind the monolith and angle them selves to only be seen by a few selected enemy units.

Yeah it was only when I re-read the rules on WBB I realised that the RO is a waste of points in this list, I dont have a lith in the list because it doesnt move fast enough to support the destroyers. They have turbo boost to get out of trouble. Going to go away and redo the maths with out the 2 orbs in there.
