See, when he wrote the codex he read the rule wrong so he thought that Carnifex would wound on a 2+ with re-roll. This is something that GW could have fixed them selves, there are other things that are similar and can wound on a 2+. Likewise things like the tomb stalker can alter this rule, stalkers can only be hurt on a 6+ by these sorts of weapons

3) Robin Crudace is the writer of the Necron Codex. (Toxin sacs on MCs anyone?) I would wish that Robin cruddace was writting the codex too. but what do you mean "Toxin sacs on MCs any anyone"... ? It is a joke on how Cruddace screwed up the Tyranid codex. He made Toxins Sacs so if a Tyranid had them it will wound on a 4+ with re-roll (poison attack), and since the carnifex wounds on a 2+ already you will be paying points to make it worse. See, when we wrote the codex he read the rule wrong so he thought that Carnifex would wound on a 2+ with re-roll. Goes to show people shouldn't write Codexes if they don't know the rules.

Well, as many of you probably already know. Games Day UK has come and gone with no news of Necrons what so ever. As a matter of fact, they didn't reveal anything new which would be the first time that has happened at a GD-UK.
Reports say that if you even so tried to query about the Necrons to the Games Workshop staff, they would become very tight-lipped and would give you a very vague and blanketed statement about how they are working on all sorts of new and exciting projects, blah blah blah.
So it looks as if GW will be staying true to their new policy of making the White Dwarf their only means of releasing new information. Chances are, the next time we hear anything about Necrons will be from the issue of the White Dwarf of the month they will be released. My guess is November, so expect to see advanced orders on the GW website for Necrons late October when the November issue of WD is available to the public.
If you think about how sudden the release of Ogre Kingdoms and Dread Fleet were prior to release... then this all makes sense.

Games Workshop raising prices? Well I never... Looks like they are trying to load off their old inventory, which is a good sign. Well, now's your chance to own one of the classic Lord or Scarab models

Saw this on Dakka Today: If this is true, I'm pleased to hear that they don't intend to change the current plastic models, as I would be tempted to replace the 30 odd something warriors and 11 destroyers I currently own. I'm also wondering if anyone were to purchase the current plastic models on the site, if they were to come in the new packaging. If so, then maybe there are new bits inside ah, wishful thinking...

Well considering that GW always does advanced orders before a release, then this certainly seems plausible.
