That was an EPIC battle with me trying to hold the Tyranid plague at bay!!!
FORCES:

Triarch Stalker, Twin-linked Heavy Gauss Cannon
TYRANIDS:

2 Tervigons

30 Termagants (So yeah, Tervs as Troops!!!), (20 In A Spore)
3 Pyrovores (Spore)
Trygon Prime (DS)
Deployment is the one that you set up in a corner 12" from the center. 5 Objectives, i control the 3 (Phew, would be difficult to get past a Nid line with Crons...)
In my deployment zone, there is a building large enough to place my Marks on the roof, a squad of Warriors at the ground level and 10 Imms on the second floor.
Barges deploy behind the building, Tek at the far corner to snipe vehicles with entropic strike (But...What Vehicles )? lol.
Stalker and a squad of Warriors also deploy back there to grab an objective.
Generally 2 objectives are to be forgotten by me, they are far deep into his dep zone, far from my reach... but the other 3 are forming a triangle, with one on the ground level of the building and 2 others as back as possible. Overlord and 10 Imms are at the front line, with little cover from some wreackages, they must now face the relentless Tyranid hoard all by themselfs in bloody combat...
He steals initiative, damn...
TURN 1: TYRANIDS
Tervies spawn 2 broods of more than 14-strong Termas to grab the 2 Objectives, from now on, if i loose a single objective then the mission will be compromised (draw).
Oh, forgot that Deathmarks are marking the Flyant "Marked for death", i say...
So Tervies give each other FnP and move and run, Flyrant flyes at the flank to charge next turn.
TURN 1: NECRONS:
Surprise! The ground is torn open as a swarm of 10 Canoptek Scarab swarms emerge to slow down the Tyrant on the Overlord's command!
Ad thats pretty much it, "Hold position... incoming from the skyes!!!"
TURN 2: TYRANIDS:
EVERYTHING ARRIVES!!! Trygon Prime and Warriors are DSing in front of my Overlord and his Immortal squad (epic drama)
20 Termagants arrive far away from the deffence building thanks to 12" scattering away, lucky me!
However, now the Pyrovores come in front of the Building.
Heavy shooting commences. Warriors fire their Deathspitters at the Overlord but fail to down a single wound from him!
The bad side is that a nearby squad of Immortals that now are under fire from 20 Devourers are obliterated!!! NOOO 10 Imms gone and a huge breach in my Deffences!!! Flyrant charges the scarabs and Pyrovores burn the squad of Warriors in the building! Another breach, must think, must plan, so little time, so many things to do!!! The resistance is under siege while the 2 Tervies are comming even closer!!! Flyrant kills 3 Scarabs, rest dont wound him, after all, its a loosing fight for them, their purpose is to slow down the beast, not kill it...
TURN 2: NECRONS:
If Szarekh returned for a reason, that was to unite us against those horrors, and unite we shall and kill them we will!!!"
"On my command, bring in the reserves!"
Another suprise! 2 Night scythes loaded with Warriors and a Lord arrive to help up! The Triarch Stalker fires at the Trygon, and hits so now its all twin-linked for him! the combined fire of 20 immortals and the Stalker bring down the Trygon!!!
"The beast has fallen, now is the time to strike!" Overlord leaves the Imms and goes straight after the Warrior brood. Immortals fire at them, killing 3!!!
Harbinger fails to wound a Tervi...
Scythes and A-barges take good care of the spores, as well as a Pyrovore, who dies from the splash effect!
Reinforcements provide a wall to slow-down the Tervigons as long as they can until the Overlord smashes the intruders at the deffence site. So Warriors reduce both Tervies to 4 wounds each and thats pretty much OK for them!
Overlord charges the Warriors, scarabs take another 3 losses and fail to do anything, but their sacrifice prooved to be vital here, if the tyrant reached my lines then it would be game over, same with trygon, but the Necron determination to not give up created a glimmering hope for victory!
Overlord smacks down a Warrior, another falls to MSSs and kills his buddy! However the Overlord now has only one wound! "I will not fall... i must not fall... for the dynasty..."
TURN 3: TYRANIDS
So Pyrovores decide to go deny the Objective the Imms are holding in the open. Tervies spawn a total of 34 Termagnts but both stop spawning cause they rolled doubles! 2 cluster spine attacks kill 4 Warriors and all those fleahboerer shots are shrugged off by the Lord!!! he failed the last one, but no other hit passed to the unit! "I did what i could, the rest, is up to you..." and with that, he failed his RP and died...
Tervies charge the Warriors, so do the Termas! The line unexpectedly holds the Tyranids at bay!
Flyrant kills another 3 Scarabs, but that one swarm will make the difference for one more turn!
Far away from the slaughter, at the safe nest of the Tyranids, 3 bulky figures aim their huge weapons high. They are a trio of Hive Guards shooting at a Night scythe, bringing it down crashing on the deffence building! "BRACE FOR IMPACT"
TURN 3: NECRONS:
"Ready the barges! Cryptek on alert! Shoot that bird down as soon as it kills the last scarab fighting him!" "Affirmative, master."
Triarch stalker and barges and tek all shoot at the Termagants, but kill 14 out of 20... overlord Smashes the last warrior and rushes to help the Immortals stand against the Pyrovore onslaught approatching... "Your form is fragile, my attacks will tear you apart!!!".
Flyrant kills the last swarm and consolidates... 1 INCH!!! Another turning point! The scarabs might not have harmed the beast bu they surely drainded its energy and it must now recharge, loosing precious minutes to do so...
Tervies kill off the Warriors, but all gaunts are now vanished and there can be no new ones! The line can still hold out!
TURN 4: TYRANIDS
The Flyrant is flying towards the Building, but i was content to know he was excacly 12" away and was about tocharge trought difficult terrain, needing 3 6s to pass!!!
Pyrovores march and scortch 4 Immortals AND KILL THE OVERLORD!!!!!! "This is not over... we shall clash again..."
The Flyrant attempts to charge... and for god's sake, he rolls 3 6s!!!!!!
"Deny..him...passage!!!" THE OVERLORD IS BACK FROM THE DEAD WITH A FULL 3 WOUNDS!!! His revival inspires the entire army to keep fighting till the end!
So Miraculusely, the Flyrant dies to overwatch fire from the Immortals!!! 4 Hits, 4 wounds, 4 1s to save!!!
"Err, boss, who we marking now???" say the deathmarks!!!
Pyrovores charge the Overlord, but one dies from the snap-fired Tachyon Arrow and the other kills itself from MSSs!!! "Life is temporal, while the Necrons are eternal".
Now, there are still the 2 tervies left. Victory seems still possible!
TURN 4: NECRONS
So everything shoots at the Tervi, but the damn FnP saved it from harm! It now has a single wound, but the other regenerated them all, so its back to 6... the second regenerated one, now having 2!
TURN 5: TYRANIDS
But no, wait a sec, i completely forgot about those 6 Termagants right there! They move and run into my deployment zone, so linebreaker is his, also first blood is, and controlling 2 objectives. All this gives the Tyranids 4 victory points. I have 3 objectives and slay the Warlord, so another 4 points. IF THE TERVIGONS SURVIVE TO DENY THE OBJECTIVE IN THE BUILDING, IT IS ALL OVER, AND THE COUNTLESS HEROIC DEEDS GO TO DUST!!!!!! Had the Overlord not returned, StW would also be his and the game would be over! So one tervigon goes to slow down the Overlord while the full-wound one goes straight for the building! The 2-wound one, however, fails to charge by a single game-saving inch!!!
The other one charges the building, but overwatch fire and the Immortals' attacks downed it to a surprising 2 Wounds!!! Regenerating one, now the game will be decided at this very combat, centered around the broken corpses of countless Tyranid organisms!
TURN 5: NECRONS
This is it, the last turn, its all or nothing... well at least half or nothing! The best i can hope for is a draw! But i wont loose to the Tyranid onslaught!!!
Barges fire at the tervi, killing it!!! Overlord rushes forward to save the game, and does so by rolling 2 6s on the charge range!!!
The Overlord hits 4 attacks and lands 4 wounds, inflicting 4 wounds, Tervi dead, mission salvaged, game saved!!!
...And as the last tyranid beasts were killed, the sky went black, blocked by a fleet of Night Scythe assault carrier craft teleporting legion upon legion of Troops and vehicles to secure the warzone. One scythe teleports the Phaeron of the Dynasty into the warzone, demanding a speacking with the Overlord in charge:
Phaeron - Sedrikh, you have succeeded.
Overlord - Master... you were watching this all the time?!
Phaeron - Yes, i was testing you! Testing you for the great battle against the Tyranids that will follow short!
Overlord - What battle are you refering to, my lord?!
Phaeron - One that will be harder than any other we have fought against those horros, one that will decide the fate of the system and the fate of the entire nebula! You, my son, must duel and defeat the beast leading the invasion, giving my forces precious time to activate the Doomsday device that will kill all life on this planet, halting the advance of the hive fleet and giving us time to prepare warp-blocking operations to restore the system's Tomb worlds to full function! You, Sendrikh, must face the Swarmlord..."
