actually he is a walker so front armour13 is a go!!
Orks play with large units, so the particle shredder large blast AP4 Str7 if i remember is very good to cause some hits.
Then you consider Immortal massed fire, getting twin-linked all of them.
And finally Monoliths, each on every flank allowes another 2 large blast attack and all those flux hits and can also transport Imms so the Nobs are not a threat to them.
A doom scythe will rape their transports, take one.
The bad side is that you can only count on these vehicles to do the job, if they get killed then youre in trouble...

this guy is awesome against Orks the particle shredder will wreck face with large squads, and tesla immortals especially will get twin linked with more chances to roll 6's they can wipe out 30 man blobs.
in HTH the Orks will hit the front armor because this is a walker, so unless you get in the way of a power claw or burna you should be OK
I would take 2

nah i think Gauss Imms will do just better:
Tesla needs 6s, twin-linked re-rolls only the 1s and 2s, which tend to be few, and if the 30 man blob has 4+ save then just forget about it...
However, Gauss will penetrate their armour with childish ease, and imagine having a Nob Squad behind that 30 man blob you shot at. They now have nothing to fear from Tesla.
IMO, Tesla was just a way to have a gun that moves and shoots at full range before 6th.

sure, still it gives you more chances for 6's if they run tesla here's an idea, have your tesla mortals go to ground in ruins getting a 3+ invul and they can snap fire tesla twin linked....re-roll all but 6's

as SK pointed out once if i remember correctly you only benefit from the stalkers ability only in your turn's shoting phase not during overwatch @me tesla is worse than gauss no ap and only one shot i dont think the 6s would recompensate in, terms of hits equality, hits scored on the other shot by gauss blasters if you know what i mean though twin linked destructor is awesome AAA

they can be gone to ground on an objective in your turn, camping an objective

it is one shot, but so is gauss at 24"
and a unit camping an objective in ruins can get a 3+ cover save and snapfire, in which case the tesla is far more powerful 10 guys you get maybe 2 hits, with gauss but with tesla its 6, and if you had a stalker mark the unit your shooting it practically doubles...it has its uses, i prefer gauss warriors and tesla immortals, and A-barges i only give tesla to, because they are always going to be snapfiring the underslung weapon

Hey! thats actually a nice (and the only one i see) use of Tesla Morties! Having re-rolls of non-6s is good to have!!
...Although Imms are much more front line troops, not objective campers...
