the outsider and I have been braistorming about this and i had an idea. why not magnetize the torso and mid section of the warriors and when they die keep them standing but take off their torso/ head. or cut diagonaly across the torso peice and magnetize it there for a more "dynamic" effect.
since rear earth magnets are too expencive to buy for every minature in two armies we thought we'd go and buy some magnetics and cut 'em up.
please give c&c

Actually this wouldn't be to expensive, K&J Magnetics sell rare earth magnets for a good price. And I like this idea, when you are building them just put a magnet on the bit you normally glue into the torso, would hardly take much time, and where the magnet would be no-one could tell untill you took the top off.

I would loose patience. With it all. 100 necron warriors would take forever for me. Plus I would do that with every model that get WBB. So including all my other guys it'll range about to 120+ models to do that for. I would hit insanity before I got the 5th model, then you have to deal with an army that sticks together way top often. Not worth it in my opinion.

I have made a load of toasted crons laying on the ground missing various parts like legs and arms and stuff, i then added scarabs on wire to look like they are helping rebuild the broken warriors and painted them. i put 1 of these in place of each downed warrior and as i run 20 warriors in most games i have made 20 downed warriors ( i know technically i only need 19 but made a rounded number.

no i tried wat the vd said i think you have to add the magnet before you put them together otherwise it screws up the whole model

only if you try the cutting thing but it still should be alright if you do the torso/ waist thing

I have kept all the warriors from my Ghost Arks and plan to use them to make the RP markers for my stuff, I mean I already have a fair few of the "broken" warriors that I made in the past so the new stuff should give me plenty of markers but I prefer to just lay my warriors and stuff over?! My destroyers are on magnetic bases so they just come off the bases and my multi wound stuff has scarab wound markers so when they loose all their wounds then all the scarabs are removed!
