Hello and welcome
The Necron Tomb world is a necron fan site prone to discussion and a friendly argument here and there.
It is for Necron and games workshop players alike to post articles about the game.
Rules:
DO NOT ADVERTISE!!!
Ever! Do not under any circumstances start a thread/ change the topic of a thread, to advertise anything you are selling. You can drop in the names of sites for the benefit of users but don't start any threads about a website. You can, however, make a thread about a particular item on sale some where e.g. the new tomb stalker on ForgeWorld. www.forgeworld.co.uk/News/Necron_Tomb_Stalker.html
No flame wars! The number 1 priority of the tomb is to keep the members safe and happy.
Post in the right place!
Don't post painting articles in the Tactica section!
Intellectual Property
GW owns the rights to the game, and the information about the game. We need to respect that. We can discuss rules, and even post rules if needed for discussion. We cannot just give out rules.
Likewise, we cannot post stats, or point costs for wargear/models/etc. When posting a list, you can give the total for the unit, but extend on upgrade costs.
Casting of Games Workshop models
As it is against our agreement with Proboards to post material like this please reframe from posting topics about casting them, also it is against Games Workshop's content agreement for us to show this so simply don't post topics with this in.
Try to spell correctly
Take a bit more brain power to spell correctly, and try not to use abbreviations k m8z?
Acronyms and Army contractions
AoBR - Assault on Black Reach. The starter set for this edition of 40K.
ATSKNF - The Space Marine special rule "And They Shall Know No Fear"

CSM - Chaos Space Marines
DE - Dark Eldar
FNP - "Feel No Pain" Universal Special Rule
FOC - Force Organisation Chart
GEq - Otherwise known as Guard Equivalent. Comprises of a statline of mainly 3s and an armour save of 5+. Often cheap and so able to be taken en masse. Often used to compare things to Dark Eldar, Eldar, Imperial Guard and Tyranid Gaunts. Sometimes used to describe blue horsey shits Fire Warriors
GT - Grand Tournament
IG - Imperial Guard.
LR - Land Raider (refers to both Chaos and Space Marine variants). May also refer to the Imperial Guard's Le Man Russ battle tanks... check what context is being used.
Mathhammer - Using basic maths and statistics of dice rolls in order to calculate the likelihood of a certain event happening
MC - Monstrous Creature
Mech *Army Name* - Mechanised Army. This list will contain a lot of Transport vehicles and/or vehicles with solid weapons. For example, "Mech Eldar" indicates a Mechanised Eldar force, or "Mech Tau" a mechanised blue horsey shits force.
MEq - Marine Equivalents. Use the generic Space Marine statline of mostly 4s and a 3+ Armour save. More elite type of troop that are limited in number but quite good. Often used when comparing Chaos Marines, Necrons and Space Marines.

RAW/RAI - Rules as Written/Rules as Intended. Both refer to discussions about rules. Note that "Rules as Intended" is a contentious issue as it is impossible to know what the game designers were thinking when writing this up... Use with caution. "Rules as Worded" refers to the rules using the strict definition of the words written within the Rule book/codex/FAQ.
