So with the new citadel colours we all want to paint our armies anew, but if we just brush over and over then details will perish and the model will look dull, so if someone knows how to remove paint from plastic models, post it here please!
I know a way but it will not work with spray paints well: Neil polish remover. Dont get me wrong, i only use it for my models!

In the UK we have two domestic household cleaning product, Dettol and Fairy Power Spray, neat Dettol on plastic, and metal, models works a treat. Immerse the model in the Dettol for a couple of hours, rinse in warm soapy water and scrub with a toothbrush, the paint almost falls off. Dettol will also "unglue" plastic models if they've been put together with standard plastic glue rather than superglue. With Powerspray, place the model in a plastic bag and heavily apply the spray to the model, tie off the bag and leave it to work its magic for a couple of hours. Again rinse in warm soapy water and scrub. Powerspray is not as effective as Dettol but it doesn't weaken the glue. A word of advice, make sure that the toothbrush isn't going to ever be used for it's intended purpose again, this could result in a very unpleasant experience.
